Kingdom Builders Sunday is September 27! The Gospel Seminar returns on Saturday, September 26th from 9am to 11:30am at Collaboration Grounds in Fenton. It will be a morning of testimonies. Believers will be sharing how they came to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. You’ll be motivated to articulate your own story to the people around you that need to hear it. Educator Sunday is August 16th! We are honoring educators and school staff with a special message, a gift of classroom supplies, and lunch for them and their families. If you know a teacher, please invite them out to the 9 or 11am service so we can bless them before the start of the school year!

There are few things in this life that causes our hearts to burst with love and in the next moment burst with frustration than parenting. We hold paintings declaring undying love in one moment and feel as though we are negotiating against a hostile take over in a board room the next. It is filled with moments of satisfaction and failure. We want to help be an anchor in those waves for you. As part of Freedom Center Church’s Back to School Weekend, we’re excited to offer the Summer Seminar: Parenting Well. Join us on Saturday, August 15th from 9am to 11:30am for moments of learning, laughter, encouragement, and introspection as parents help parents feel a little less overwhelmed. A student’s school year is filled with thousands of conversations, decisions, interactions with other people, and challenges. Let’s pray over them before any of that happens! On Friday, August 14th at 6pm, come down to the main hall of the Fenton Community and Cultural Center as different pastors in our area lead times of prayer of specific groups of students, parents, and teachers. This night will kick off a Back to School Weekend that encourages, meets needs, equips, and shares the love of Jesus Christ with our community. Put this on your calendar today!

In March and May of this year, people of Freedom Center Church have gone up to the picket lines to talk and pray with nurses on those lines. There have been great moments of ministry that have touched lives, resources given to help meet needs, and needed conversations. It’s been great to build those relationships. On Tuesday, July 28th from 5:30pm to 7pm, we’re gonna head back to the lines at Henry Ford Genesys, still minister, and also have some fun! BBQ, yard games, and good times with good people.
