Back to School Teacher Appreciation

Freedom Center Church and Engage Community Organization (ECO) are hosting a special day for educators to help them gear up for school, on August 25th, at both the 9:00am and 11:30am services. Educators will be honored and blessed with several FREE school supplies, FREE ice cream sundaes from Uncle Rays Dairyland, and a special message!

FCMA Shadow Day

We are inviting you to come spend a shadow day with us on Sept. 26th to experience how FCMA works! The day will consist of testimonies from students, vision casting, sharing our hearts, lunch, and heading to the streets of Flint to do ministry. We are excited to also be sharing the heart and vision of the Creative Academy for a portion of the morning, so everyone is welcome to attend!

CNO Overnight

Couples’ Night Out is having its 3rd Annual Overnight for Married Couples. By popular demand, we will be traveling back up to Canada Creek in Atlanta, MI, from Thursday, September 26 through Saturday, September 28. Cost for Friday-Saturday is $190. Cost for Thursday-Saturday is $290. In addition to lodging, dinner (pizza) and snacks are provided on Thursday, breakfast/dinner/snacks on Friday and breakfast/lunch on Saturday. A $100 deposit is required at registration and the balance is due Sunday, September 22. Register today at the Connect Center or on Couple’s Night Out FB page. Paddle for Paws

Dr. Wax Orthodontics and ECO (Engage Community Organization) are excited to host our Paddle for Paws event. Come paddle with us and your family as we go down the Shiawassee River for an excellent cause on August 16th, 2019. Proceeds from the event will go towards Adopt A Pet of Fenton, Michigan.

Don’t have your own kayak or canoe? Don’t fret! Call our Downtown Linden friend, E Z Kayak and Canoe Rental, to get your own boat (additional charges apply). Give them a call at, (810)407-0785. Boats are limited to rent so act fast!

Here's a few "Need to Know" details about the event.

1. We will meet at Hyatt Elementary to check in on August 16th. Beginning at 4:30 pm, buses and trailers will be loaded up and taken to the Lake Ponemah launch point at 6:00 pm.

2. You will enjoy a 45 min to an hour paddle ride all the way back to Downtown Linden.

3. Once completed, boats will be pulled out at the Mill Pond and you will be shuttled back to Hyatt Elementary for our after PAW-ty!!!

4. Pets are MORE than welcome. (Life preservers are encouraged)
