Becoming a Godly Wife - taught by Sadie Miller

Does God really expect me to submit to my husband when… he’s not following God? I’ve been alone so long, it’s my nature to lead? I’m better at making decisions? I don’t trust my husband so how can God?

Yes. I believe God is asking you to do just that. God desires to bless your marriage. He desires that you walk in unity with your husband, not against him. God desires that your husband be the leader of your home. Let’s discover exactly what God means when He tells us to submit to our husbands, as unto the Lord (Eph 5:22). Be encouraged and inspired in your marriage and know that your husband can learn to lead and you can learn to follow his lead, without becoming a “yes” woman. Registration fee is $5 per person.

11th Annual Couch to the Crib Run/Walk Group- taught by Chuck Cova

This is our annual human powered trek into the surrounding communities, celebrating fellowship, friendship and fitness. This has always proven to be a super fun and fruitful investment into ourselves, our fellow TFC friends as well as our neighbors at large while we work together toward the (optional) goal of the Crim race in August. The Crim is one of Michigan's premier running races, and offers distances for the walker or runner from 5k (3.1 miles) to 10 miles. This is a group for all levels from beginner to advanced. So whether your goal is to make a friend, work toward being able to walk 3 miles, or maybe run a personal best 10 mile time, this group is a fantastic celebration of all of that as well as our precious Michigan summer! Hope you can join us!  Registration fee is $5 per person.   (Please note that this cost does not include registering you for the CRIM race.)
